Providing peace of mind during sensitive situations through a digital HR tool
Doctor’s Without Borders’ approached me with an opportunity to rethink communication and interaction of their HR processes around sensitive and uncomfortable situations.
By interviewing DWB employees we were able to identify their main needs and concerns in relation to reporting an incident. Using the results I prioritized the flow and layout of the website.
Addressing a discrete and sensitive topic from a wide variety of viewpoints
Using what I learned from direct user research, we developed a platform for educating and providing resources to users who may want to remain anonymous.
Their biggest needs were to quickly understand the reporting process for workplace harassment and who is involved in these processes.
Additionally, users wanted to know how to navigate different scenarios, such as if they weren't a victim themselves but instead witnessed workplace harassment.
