Revolutionizing Real Estate Searching with CINC

Our team at GrowthSpan was hired to run an experiment for real-estate juggernaut CINC. They have a successful real-estate CRM and were interested in exploring something new: a lead generation platform (think Zillow, Compass, etc.). As the UX & Creative Director for this experiment I knew we needed to think and act differently to rise above the myriad of competitors. Through competitive analysis and user research we discovered that while users are happy with existing platforms, they spent a lot of time sifting through only-somewhat-relevant listings before finding truly good matches. We hyper-focused on precisely this problem as our UX positioning and designed a platform which learns about you as you browse, presenting the user with relevancy scores on listings, and other personalized search features. Our experiment ran for ~12 months and was ran on hundreds of users to validate the experience and overall concept.

A New Personalized Way To Search

Our goal was to feed users only the most relevant, personally fulfilling listings by engaging with the user through conversational search as an alternative to a traditional filtering search. Through this we can learn a lot about a user: what they care about, when they want to move, what excites them and what turns them off. Using this data we are able to present users with the strongest matches first, no more digging through hundreds of listings looking for a perfect match. Once a user lands on a listing they can see immediately how relevant this listing is to them and decide to dig deeper or move on. To further personalize the experience for HelloCondo users, we developed a concept of a Buyer’s Brief - a market snapshot for users who want to view everything they need to know about their niche. Looking for a pet-friendly listing great for entertaining in the Lower East Side? HelloCondo will tell you all you need to know about market trends, available listings, things to do in the neighbourhood, etc. Users can save and track their niche Buyer’s Brief to get market updates, access to brand-new listings, and more.
